Identify Attachment Points: Choose four attachment points. Each point location should align with the dimensions of the Shade Sail and withstand occasional windy conditions. Possible attachment points include trees or secured posts. (Figure 1)
Attach Shade Sail: Tie each pre-attached rope to an attachment point. Pull ropes tight to prevent the shade from sagging.
Ensure the Ropes are Secure: Tighten the topes and check tension periodically to make sure the shade sail is secure.. (Figure 2)
Note: To prevent damage, take down your shade sail when not in use or before strong storms.
Coolaroo fabrics are designed for simple care that keeps your purchase looking fresh over time. Simply rinse with a garden hose to remove dust and pollen. Use a solution of mild detergent and water for more stubborn spots. Apply the solution with a sponge or a very soft brush. Let the solution stand on the fabric for 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with water from your garden hose. The naturally mildew-resistant fabric dries quickly and maintains its color integrity even with regular cleaning. When not in use, secure or store away in a cool, dry place to extend the life of your investment.
Note: Use of solvents or abrasive cleaners may damage the fabric and will void your warranty. Do not use bleach or chlorine. Do not put in washing machine or dryer. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
