  • Care and Maintenance

Coolaroo fabrics are designed for simple care that keeps your purchase looking fresh over time. To clean your shade, begin by rinsing it with a garden hose to remove dust and pollen. For more stubborn spots, use a solution of mild detergent and water, applying it with a sponge or very soft brush. Allow the solution to stand on the fabric for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. The naturally mildew‑resistant fabric dries quickly and maintains its colour integrity even with regular cleaning. Do not store the shade while it is wet. In damp environments, roll the blind down frequently to allow it to air‑dry. Retract your exterior blind when not in use, or before strong storms, to prevent damage. When storing, ensure the blind is kept in a cool, dry place to extend its life and maintain performance.
